If it fails every time you try it, select the "You stay here" option to go straight to Carol and get a working diagram. Avoid the other option that requires you to walk back to Carol yourself. We will fix this in the next update.īroken Age is doing something strange and random and glitchy and none of the specific things below help, what can I do?Ĭomputers are fickle beasts and sometimes things go wrong. There are a few steps you can try that solve many of the random breakages that users encounter. If you post about an issue, very likely we’ll ask you to try one or more of these things first. That's a little more Sierra (by heritage) than LucasArts.Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 / ATI Radeon 4870 HD / Intel HD 3000 / orĮquivalent card with at least 512 MB VRAM * Make sure your system meets the minimum system requirements. I really enjoyed the Blackwell series from Wadjet eye a lot more than I expect too.Īnother game I really enjoyed was Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller. They both put out some quality point-and-click adventures in the LucasArts style. A lot of them can be found on Steam and GOG.com.Īlso check out titles from Daedalic and Wadjet Eye too. In addition, if you pick up any of the old LucasArts point-and-click games (Monkey Island.again, Indiana Jones) these are the games that inspired Broken Age (and Tim Schafer - who is the mastermind behind Broken Age - started at LucasArts). The later Telltales games are brilliant, but I don't know if they quite fit the definition of like Broken Age. The earlier Telltale games are very much in the traditional point-and-click mold (Sam & Max, Tales of Monkey Island, Strongbad for example) and usually have a structure where for at least part of the game there are multiple objectives that you can switch between (so maybe you need to gather three different objects - if you get stuck on one of them, you can go work on the others). Absolute classic game with multiple characters to switch between and great humor. Take a look at the Day of the Tentacle remake. I do plan on playing kings quest and grim fandango in the near future too. Probably looking for more interactive games. I have the first episode of game of thrones but havent gotten around to it. Other games that you guys might suggest that I have already played: portal games, life is strange (loved it but a bit too casual in gameplay), to the moon, heavy rain and beyond two souls. I really enjoyed being able to figure out 95% by myself.īeautiful game visually and I also enjoyed the humour I only had to look up a few things and it was usually items I had missed or areas I’d forgotten about. The puzzles were the perfect difficulty for me. I absolutely loved it and I’m looking for something to fix my craving :) PC, Ps4, Ps vita and 3DS are my consoles.Ĭhanging characters at almost any point is cool cos it gives you a bit of a break if you feel stuck on a puzzle or bored of the scenario I just finished broken age on PS4 after getting it free from Playstation plus.
